Welcome to the Georgia Washington Guidance Department. I am Kimberly Foster and have served here at Georgia Washington for seventeen years and love it!! There is no place better for your child during those critical middle school years than G.W. AS we get the year off to a start please let me know if I can be of assistance in any way.
This is my 21st year in Education. I started my career in Birmingham City Schools where I left after one year to serve here at Georgia washington as a 7th and 8th grade science teacher. After 6 years of teaching I moved into my present position as Guidance Counselor. I received my undergrad at Alabama A&M, Masters at TSUM and Ed.S at AUM.
My most important job is to provide encouragement and support throughout the year to not only your children, our students, in the areas of personal, social, and academic growth, but also to you the parents.
